Skin & Body Systems

Understanding how herbs and plants interact with different body systems is essential to traditional herbalism. Here we explore system-level shifts with a focus on structure, function, and natural patterns — without medical diagnosis or treatment language.

Herbal Energetics & Traditional Frameworks

Plants are not only chemical — they are energetic. Energetics give context to how herbs feel: hot, cool, moist, dry, or tonic over time. This framework helps guide selection and application in a non-medical, traditional context.

Why Creation Farm?

See More about: Creation Farm Inc. and Our Family of Brands

Creation Farm began in 1982 with handmade herbal soaps crafted by Anna Sangemino. Over the next four decades, the work expanded into salves, creams, aromatherapy, hydrosols, and traditional herbal skincare rooted in folk herbal practice.

Our orientation is herbal rather than pharmaceutical, and traditional rather than trend-based. We work with whole plants, simple carriers, and conservative dilutions of essential oils chosen for topical comfort rather than for dramatic aromatics.

We are one of the longest-standing herbal soap and salve makers in the United States, with more than a million bars of soap produced by hand since the 1980s. Our products have appeared on QVC, in natural markets, apothecaries, homestead supply shops, and were exported to Japan for nearly a decade as part of a premium botanical skincare program.

Today, Creation Farm serves both direct customers and independent retailers through Faire wholesale, while also offering books, courses, and a growing learning library for those interested in herbal practice and plant-forward skincare.

Formulation Philosophy

    • Whole plants: herbal infusions, macerations, and hydrophilic extracts
    • Topical outcomes: comfort, moisture, nourishment, and seasonal support
    • Aromatics: essential oils used in conservative, skin-aware dilutions
    • Non-pharmaceutical: no medical claims, no internal use, no hormone claims
    • No unnecessary additives: no endocrine disruptors, no synthetic fragrances
    • Long-term use: products intended for daily and seasonal routines
