This week was brutal in southern Michigan.  The weather fluctuated from the mid 40’s to the teens three days last week. The weekend was a gusher, 3.5 inches of rain and ice and snow at night.  The drive way is slick and washed out in places, with logs and branches frozen in our tracks.  Terrie and I took care of the horses, tackled the driveway and cleared the culverts so the water would pick up its pace drying out the ground. We started clearing out the debris and hoping for the thaw today to fill in the deep trenches.
